This series is not about perfect poses or keeping up. It’s about understanding the structure, language, and purpose behind a modern yoga class so you can move with clarity instead of confusion.

This series is for you if:

  • You’re new to yoga or haven’t practiced in a while

  • You’ve taken classes but often feel lost or unsure

  • You want to understand why we move—not just how

  • You’re curious about studio culture and want to find a space that feels like community

Sun Salutations
Learn what Sun Salutations are, why they’re central to so many classes, and how breath and movement work together to create flow.

Warrior Poses
Understand the purpose, alignment, and intention behind Warrior shapes so you can feel strong, stable, and supported—no matter the class style.

Alignment Foundations
Explore posture and Tadasana (Mountain Pose) as the blueprint for all poses, with alignment cues you can apply across your entire practice.

Yoga Language & Studio Culture

Decode common cues and terminology you’ll hear in class, and learn studio etiquette—how to navigate a space that’s not just about movement, but community.
